Counseling Continues ONLINE

 The office has transitioned to counseling clients solely online as of March, 2020 via telemental health sessions.

ONLINE COUNSELING
Virtual mental health counseling uses live video and audio to conduct a counseling session. Typically, it will be via Zoom.

INSURANCE an EAP
Please contact the phone number on the back of your insurance card to  inquire about your cost  for ”virtual mental health counseling“  services.  Sometimes,  it’s a different amount than an in-person counseling session.

LICENSE
Jill is licensed by the State of Florida to provide telehealth counseling for clients physically in Florida during the virtual counseling session.

PRIVACY
The office has established encrypted, HIPPA and HITECH compliance for telehealth sessions and  payments.

NOTE: During the COVID-19 pandemic, Federal regulators of HIPAA (personal health information) have allowed healthcare professionals to use non-HIPPA compliant video and audio means in order to respond quickly to people's need for counseling. Therefore, FaceTime (best for client using an Apple device) and DUO (best for client using a non-Apple device) are approved during the COVID-19 pandemic. This office may use one of those connections if needed in a temporary measure to ensure continuity of care.
